Job Description
The Parts counter sales role manages the flow of heavy equipment parts and snow equipment, coordinating accurate shipping, receiving, inventory replenishment, packaging, parts sales, and customer service. This position reports to the Parts Manager, uses shipping software, operates forklifts and pallet jacks, and may require occasional local travel. Advancement opportunities include Parts Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure timely dispatch of parts.
- Customer Orders
- Replenish stock and support inventory control.
- Package parts according to shipping standards.
- Support parts sales and provide customer service.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks while following safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with parts sales and customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license.
- Experience with shipping software and packaging techniques.
- Forklift and pallet jack operation skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Entry-level experience in shipping and receiving functions.
