Step into a dynamic and supportive school environment as a Physical Therapist, providing essential services across a range of grade levels. This contract position offers a unique schedule, combining Extended School Year (ESY) in July with a full-time school year role beginning in August. Work closely with a PT/PTA team, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students and traveling between schools within close proximity—a paid mileage perk ensures your travel is valued.

What you bring:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
• Early intervention expertise and/or training in Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for Pre-K evaluation is highly desirable
• Comfort working collaboratively and adapting to different school environments
• Eligible for fingerprinting required for work with Pre-K students
• Strong communication and organization skills

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students at multiple schools, from Pre-K through high school
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families to support student needs
• Attend scheduled meetings and provide relevant documentation for student programs
• Travel between school locations, with efforts to maintain a manageable route

• ESY: July 8–30, 2026, Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
• School year: August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 35 hours per week
