Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for the cardiovascular territory in the Decatur area. The role involves promoting cardiovascular products to medical professionals, managing territory sales targets, and developing customer relationships while navigating payer environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical product knowledge and communicate benefits to healthcare professionals
- Execute territory sales strategy and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, manage accounts, and resolve reimbursement issues
- Conduct medical educational programs and schedule follow-up activities
- Analyze sales performance and collaborate with District Manager on territory planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience in sales
- 3-8 years of sales experience depending on education level
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry
- Experience in specialty areas such as cardiology or inflammation preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
- Local market knowledge and established territory relationships preferred
Compensation: $89,816-$121,602 annual salary range
