Test Automation Lead- Electronic Trading
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of derivatives trading. Unique opportunity to join a pioneering fintech startup revolutionizing the trading of global derivatives, swaps and options through an innovative electronic execution venue. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a test automation strategy for a leading Fixed Income Electronic Trading company in the global interest rate swaps and options markets. In this hands-on player-coach role, you will be responsible for:
- Defining the test automation vision and roadmap for the company.
- Selecting and implementing a test automation platform.
- Developing and executing automated tests for the trading system.
- Creating stability and performance testing scripts.
- Implementing test-driven development (TDD) methodologies for new features and functionalities.
- Integrating seamlessly into the software development lifecycle and contributing to the successful delivery of new features.
- Ensuring the quality, reliability, and resiliency of new software releases.
- Recruiting, training, and leading a team of test automation engineers.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer or a developer of tests for a leading electronic trading company.
- 5+ years of experience testing trading applications in financial markets (fixed income, equities, FX).
- 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
- Prior startup experience is a plus.
- Hands-on scripting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (required).
- Electronic trading experience, ideally with a global fixed income industry company.
- Master's degree or MBA (a plus).
- Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to partner across all levels of seniority including the "C Suite".
Base salary range: $170K-$195K
