Role Description The School Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashville, TN, providing psychological and educational support to students, families, and school staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting results, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans. The role involves providing consulting with educators on classroom strategies, contributing to prevention and crisis response efforts, and being a key member of MTSS Academic and MTSS Behavior teams. The School Psychologist works closely with administrators and caregivers to promote positive school climate, address barriers to learning, and support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development. Documentation, adherence to ethical and legal standards, and participation in professional development are integral components of the position. Qualifications Strong foundation in School Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices in a school setting. Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized tests and other evaluation tools. Master’s or specialist-level degree (or higher) in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Knowledge of special education processes, including IDEA, Section 504, and relevant state regulations. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and community partners, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice. Strong organizational skills, professional ethics, and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a school environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
