Full Time INDIRECT Fort Wayne, IN, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1251 Salary Range: $33.18 To $35.29 Annually About the Role: The HR Generalist II plays a pivotal role in supporting the human resources functions within the organization by managing a broad range of HR activities that contribute to the overall employee experience and organizational effectiveness. This position is responsible for implementing HR policies, administering employee relations, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. The HR Generalist II collaborates closely with management and employees to address workforce needs, resolve issues, and promote a positive work environment. By maintaining accurate HR records and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives, this role helps to attract and retain top talent. Ultimately, the HR Generalist II contributes to the strategic goals of the company by fostering a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience in a human resources role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent. Experience working in a mid to large-sized organization. Familiarity with talent management and performance appraisal systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with employee engagement and organizational development initiatives. Responsibilities: Administer day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and facilitating interview processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases. Assist in the development and delivery of employee training programs and organizational development initiatives. Collaborate with management to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions. Participate in HR projects such as compensation reviews, employee engagement surveys, and diversity initiatives. Skills: The HR Generalist II utilizes strong communication skills daily to effectively interact with employees at all levels and resolve workplace issues diplomatically. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting HR metrics, ensuring compliance, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Proficiency with HRIS and other technology tools enables efficient management of employee records and streamlining of HR processes. Problem-solving skills are applied when addressing employee relations matters and implementing corrective actions.
