Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel PCU RN Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day | 3x12 hours | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Requirements: Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience with strong PCU skills — Required First-time travelers accepted Candidates with only 1 year of experience require manager review; no auto-offer BLS and ACLS — Required EPIC experience — Required IV start and telemetry experience — Required Previous charge experience — Preferred Teaching hospital experience — Preferred Description: Hours: 36 hours/week Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:3–1:4 Weekend: Weekdays and some weekends; rotating holidays Float: Required within OSU organization Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including renal, hepatology, cardiology, and pulmonary diagnoses. The unit currently operates at a medical-surgical level and is transitioning toward a PCU-level setting.
