  What  your day will look like:

• Follow and enforce all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements while actively promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in safety performance.
• Conduct periodic Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews and document near misses, accidents, and safety concerns.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor team activities to ensure production goals and schedules are consistently met.
• Perform advanced setup and operation of specialized production equipment, including panel lines, purlin machinery, trim/wrap systems, coil handling equipment, Alpha stations, door assembly equipment, and other new equipment added to the facility.
• Perform role-specific responsibilities across areas including Senior Loader/Coil Receiving, Panel Operator, Purlin Operator, Trim/Wrap Driver, Door Operator, Alpha Operator, Hardware, and Offline Lead.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and escalate maintenance or operational concerns as needed.
• Coordinate workflow, facilitate communication between shifts, and provide day-to-day leadership support as assigned.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct detailed product inspections and verify specifications using measuring tools, production documentation, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control processes are consistently followed at each work center in accordance with QC standards, corrective actions, and internal/external customer feedback.
• Train, mentor, and support new hires, Technicians, and Operators on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality requirements.
• Ensure all required employee training is completed, documented, and properly certified for assigned areas.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating hoists, cranes, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and measurements.
• Previous experience in a lead, senior, or trainer-level production role.
• Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, mechanics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles.
• Primarily work in a manufacturing environment using standard and specialized production equipment.
