Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Hoffman Estates, IL. Job Details Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery. Assist physicians with epidurals, pain medications, episiotomies, and cesarean preparations. Monitor labor: track contractions, cervical status, and patient comfort. Maintain cleanliness of the birthing environment and manage bodily fluids. Aid with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments. Provide immediate care to newborns. Qualifications 3+ years recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment). Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs and carry 20 lbs. Strong stress‑management and interpersonal skills.
