Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Type: In-person (Home Health / Private Duty Nursing) Location: Watsonville, CA (In-person, patient home setting) Work Type: W2 – Part-Time Starting Pay and/or Pay Range: $60–$65 per hour *Case-specific rate only Job Summary Aveanna Healthcare is one of the largest private duty nursing companies in the nation and continues to grow. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient with a tracheostomy in a home setting while ensuring safe, high-quality clinical outcomes in accordance with the established care plan and physician orders. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient with a tracheostomy Deliver care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans Continuously monitor and assess patient condition and report changes as needed Perform trach care and related respiratory nursing interventions Document nursing care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely Maintain infection control practices in accordance with OSHA standards Educate and support the patient and family as appropriate Maintain professional boundaries and patient confidentiality Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and scope of LVN practice Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program Active, unencumbered California LVN license Minimum one (1) year of hands-on nursing experience Not accepting new graduates at this time Required tracheostomy (Trach) experience TB skin test (2-step, current within the last 12 months) Reliable transportation Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance standards Completion of continuing education as required by the state of California Schedule and Shift Details (Optional) Part-time position Shift: 2:00 AM – 10:00 AM Benefits (Ability to choose between two options – eligibility varies by employment status and location) Health, Dental, Vision, and Company-Paid Life Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan (15% discount) Employee Relief Fund Option 2 – Work-Life Balance & Pay Flexibility Paid Time Off (PTO) Weekly and/or Daily Pay 24/7 local clinical and operational support Career pathing and skill advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr MyCareers by Leoforce
