As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Elwood, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and maintain clear records of access-related events. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, documenting entries and exits, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, vehicle information, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, unauthorized entry attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
