Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Unlock your potential here!

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician II with us:

• Non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets
• Preparing unit dose drug
• Delivering medications to patient care areas
• Checking medication storage areas for outdates
• Completing billing duties
• Working in IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, medication reconciliation

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician certificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
• If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued a Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.
• High school diploma
