Senior Bus DriverThe Charter Township of Shelby Parks, Recreation & Maintenance Department is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Senior Bus Driver.This position is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to senior residents, ensuring passenger safety, and supporting daily senior transportation operations. Applicants must be available to work approximately 8-16 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.Essential Job FunctionsDuties include, but are not limited to:Inspect bus prior to use each day to ensure proper operating conditionReport any vehicle problems or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnelMaintain and complete daily log sheets accuratelyPrepare incident and accident reports when necessaryProvide transportation services according to established daily schedulesAssist in the office during downtime as neededFuel bus as requiredConduct end-of-day bus inspectionsMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageA valid CDL or Chauffer's License is required at time of applicationAbility to pass a background check and driving record reviewAbility to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screeningAbility to lift and assist passengers as neededAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsDependable and punctual with a strong work ethicStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with senior citizens in a courteous and professional manner.Ability to work in various weather conditions.Ability to safely operate a passenger bus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
