YWCA OF KALAMAZOO

Make a hands-on difference in the community by volunteering with our Housing Rehab Team! This is a great opportunity for individuals or groups who enjoy practical work and want to help create safe, welcoming homes.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Housing Director and staff with a variety of housing repair projects
Tasks may include landscaping, painting, flooring, and other minor home repairs
Work alongside housing professionals. T raining is provided

Who We’re Looking For

Must be 18 years of age or older
Able to lift up to 15 pounds
Basic knowledge of housing repairs, painting, or flooring is helpful but not required

Training:

Training for projects is provided by the housing director and staff.
