This position offers the opportunity to work on a night shift, providing critical care to patients in a specialized environment. Responsibilities\n \n Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the LTAC ICU. \n Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. \n Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. \n Provide education and support to patients and their families. \n Participate in on-call rotations to ensure patient needs are met outside of regular hours. \n Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately and timely. \n Qualifications\n \n Must possess at least two years of ICU nursing experience. \n Experience in a Long-Term Acute Care setting is preferred. \n Neurology experience is required. \n Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications. \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. \n Schedule\n This position requires a commitment of 36 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with additional weekend support on a rotating call basis with 6 to 8 staff members.
