Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based (K-12)

Location: Fall River, MA area

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Compensation : Up to $70/hr based on experience

Weekly Hours: 32.5- 35 hours per week

Contract Length: 36 weeks

Position Overview

We are actively hiring Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for placements supporting students across all grade levels (K-12) . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with diverse student populations in collaborative school-based settings.

Employment Details

• Full school-year contract (36 weeks)

• 32.5-35 hours per week

• Temp to perm opportunities available

Program Placements

SLPs will support students across a variety of specialized programs

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans

• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group)

• Collaborate with teachers, SLPAs, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

• Support AAC implementation and communication development

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Active Massachusetts licensure (DESE + state licensure as applicable)

• SLP-CCC required

• Prior school-based experience preferred

Interview Process

• Initial phone screen

• In-person interviews scheduled for July 2026

• Specific dates to be confirmed

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
