Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide advanced medical care and monitoring for patients with acute health conditions who require more intensive care than provided in a general medical-surgical unit, but less than that of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring in the PCU.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and utilize specialized equipment such as arterial lines and bipap-airvo.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
• Participate in patients' care planning and assessment.

Requirements:

• MO or Compact RN License
• 1 year of PCU RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• High acuity drip experience preferred
