Assistant Service Manager

Bob Boyte Honda - Moss Point is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Moss Point, MS. In this role, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing daily service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient workflows within our service department. Responsibilities

Assist the Service Manager in managing daily activities of the service department.
Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs and services to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Communicate with customers regarding service progress, estimates, and completion timelines.
Monitor technician productivity and service quality to ensure high standards are maintained.
Support inventory management for parts and supplies.
Handle customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Assist in training and mentoring service staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in automotive service or repair, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficient in using service department software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
