Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical – Tennessee

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day and Night Shifts available (12-hour shifts). Patient ratio 1:5 on a fast-paced 36-bed surgical unit.

Highlights:

• Dynamic post-operative surgical unit specializing in vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, and colorectal procedures
• Work with a collaborative team of 40 RNs supporting 8 bedside nurses per shift alongside charge RN and unit leadership
• Comprehensive skill development including wound care, wound vac maintenance, central line care, TPN, blood administration, and ostomy care
• Utilize Meditech EMR system with structured bedside shift reporting processes
• Short length of stay environment requiring strong time management and efficiency skills
• Access to specialized bariatric equipment, lifts, and advanced wound care technology

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated time management and efficiency skills in fast-paced clinical environments
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Preferred: Experience in post-operative surgical areas including vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, or colorectal nursing
• Ability to float to medical-surgical units as needed
