Medical Assistant PositionWe are seeking a friendly, experienced Medical Assistant individual for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, and inform patients for their appointment. Potential candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships. If you have a desire to work in women's health, we welcome your application!This position will be split evenly between Toms River and Eatontown locations with infrequent travel to our Lawrenceville office.Hours: Monday - Friday 6:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. with weekend rotation depending on the needs of the practice.Responsibilities include:Assisting physician with patient carePrepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomyDocument patient care in the medical records system accurately and in a timely mannerOrganize exam and treatment roomsStock and clean rooms as well as sterilize instrumentsAnswering phones/scheduling appointments as well as general administrative tasksMaintain electronic patient recordsSkills & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required2 years prior experience, preferably in the healthcare settingMedical Assistant diploma and Medical Assistant certification is required.Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical recordsMust be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirementsHourly pay approximately $22/hr.Why You'll Love Working Here – Our Amazing Benefits:Free Health Coverage: Need coverage for your family?
