Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for serving as a specialized resource for Advisor teams who are interested in wealth planning services to address their high- and ultra-high net worth clients' trust, estate/wealth transfer, and financial planning needs. Key responsibilities include building relationships with Advisor teams, clients, prospects, and centers of influence, performing technical analyses of clients' estate and financial information, and developing planning strategies while focusing on the bank's ability to implement those strategies with clients' Advisors where appropriate.Responsibilities:Leads the wealth planning engagement process with clients from start to finishWorks with Wealth Strategy Specialists and/or Wealth Strategy Analysts to gather information, run analyses, and develop planning solutions based on these analysesDevelops holistic, integrated planning strategies for clients with a focus on how Bank of America can help implement those strategies in concert with the clients’ advisors where appropriateExpands existing client relationships and assists Advisors in new business opportunities with high- or ultra-high net worth clients and prospects who are interested in wealth planningDemonstrates advanced technical knowledge across a broad range of wealth planning topics such as trust and estate planning, income and wealth transfer tax planning, investments, retirement planning and cash flow modeling, sale of business entities, and philanthropic planningStays up-to-date with major developments in trust, estate/wealth transfer and financial planning, while following current and proposed tax legislation and understanding the impact on clientsBuilds a network with local centers of influence to create a business referral network of clients who would benefit from the bank's servicesUp to 10% Travel ExpectedKey Qualifications:Ability to gain client's respect and trust by listening to the client's goals and then building an effective and creative strategy for achieving those goals.Advanced understanding of a wide range of subject matters including income taxation, stock options, insurance, investments and cash flow modeling, business entities and business transitions.Advanced understanding of the transfer tax system and core tax savings strategies such as irrevocable trusts, SIDGTs, and GST trusts.Advanced understanding of charitable and non-charitable split interest trusts (CRTs, CLTS, GRATs, QPRTs).Expand existing client relationships, assist advisors in new sales, and represent the firm in the marketplace.Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Various Wealth Strategy stochastic models and planning software such as WealthMaster.Desired Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of planning-related work experience desiredJD, CPA, or CFP desiredLLM, MST, MBA (or in progress) a plusSkills:Critical ThinkingOral CommunicationsPresentation SkillsWealth PlanningWritten CommunicationsActive ListeningBusiness DevelopmentCollaborationCustomer and Client FocusNetworkingIssue ManagementPrioritizationMinimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalentFor internal employees; participation in a work from home posture does not make you ineligible to post.Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - CO - Denver - 370 17TH ST - REPUBLIC PLAZA (CO1004), US - WA - Seattle - 401 Union St - Rainier Square (WA1510)Pay and benefits informationPay range$177,000.00 - $300,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
