Worship Pastor/Director

Journey Church, a vibrant and growing church of 350 located in beautiful Conway, New Hampshire, is seeking a dynamic Worship Pastor/Director to join our team! This role is vital to the ministry of our church and will make a real impact on the lives of our people, our church, and our community. As our Worship Pastor/Director, you'll be responsible for developing the worship team and overseeing all aspects of planning and executing audio and visual elements for our Sunday worship services and special services. You'll recruit and train new worship team members, organize weekly rehearsals, select appropriate songs, and manage equipment used in worship. You'll work hands-on, using and developing skills for project management, event planning, developing leaders, and evaluation to ensure long-term ministry health. In addition to your direct ministry work, you'll also be an active member of our weekly staff team meetings, contributing to planning, awareness, and leadership development. You'll have the chance to work with a great team of like-minded individuals who are all dedicated to serving our church community. Conway, New Hampshire, is a beautiful, four-season destination in the White Mountains and the region's major commercial and tourism center, drawing people to the mountains for skiing, hiking, climbing, and other outdoor activities. For residents, it retains its small-town feel and yet has the amenities of a suburban center, with a bustling restaurant and retail scene, good schools, services, and recreation for families. This position requires a bachelor's degree, certification in ministry or an equivalent, and some experience in worship ministry in the local church context.
