SSTAR’s clinical team provides comprehensive outpatient behavioralhealth services in a safe and welcoming environment! The clinicianprovides individual, group, and family counseling to people affectedby addiction and or/mental illness. Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality ofAlcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations. Maintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to clients -including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling,discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, dailygroups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments. Responsible for each assigned clients’ medical records. Provide direct care to the clients. This care will include, butnot limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures,orientation for new patients, discharge & aftercare planning,and case management of clients assigned. Responsible for linking clients with aftercare services prior todischarge and aiding the client and with access to outpatientservices when appropriate. Attend all unit meetings and case conferences as directed by theExecutive Director. Responsible for continued education in the field of substanceabuse and related courses. Communicate with referring agencies and other entities on behalfof the client. Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of clients asdefined by the client’s rights. Other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Executive Director. Clinician Qualifications Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or a related discipline.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $72,000 - 78,000
