Senior Software Development Engineer In Test
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to lead testing and validation of ecommerce systems that serves millions of customers every year. As an SDET, you partner with software developers to create and code tests concurrently with product development. You build tools that help developers be more productive, write better code and test it themselves. Responsibilities include:
- Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications
- Participate in product spec reviews, design, triage, scheduling, and other product development process
- Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing
- Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
- Train and mentor other team members
- Working closely with engineers in other organizations to share state-of-the-art tools and technologies
Skill set:
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in this role
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineer. Masters degree is preferred
- Solid programming skills in Java and at least one scripting language (Python/Ruby/Perl/PHP)
- Highly proficient in writing unit tests and functional tests
- Proficiency in writing automation tests in Selenium preferably using Java
- Deep knowledge of internet technologies
Preferred:
- Prior experience with agile development methodologies
- Prior experience with load and performance testing
