Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Inspector to join our team on a Data Center construction site. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the coordination, supervision, and daily operations of construction projects. This position is responsible for assisting the QA/QC Manager and Project Management team in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet company quality standards as well as client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily construction activities on assigned projects.
• Monitor jobsite productivity and report progress to the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager.
• Ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Support sequencing and scheduling of trades to minimize delays and conflicts.
• Conduct routine site walks to verify workmanship and project compliance.
• Perform QA/QC inspections throughout all phases of construction.
• Verify materials and workmanship meet project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities, third-party inspectors, and clients.
• Maintain punch lists and assist in tracking completion of corrective items.
• Document deficiencies and follow through to resolution.

• Commercial construction knowledge
• Construction supervision skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Associate degree or construction-related education preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction field experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Excel, Procore, CXAlloy) preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site at a data center in Minneapolis. This is a 9-month plus contract-to-hire opportunity, with potential for extension. Employees will receive medical, dental, and vision benefits, 6 paid holidays, and 1 week of PTO, with the possibility of more PTO if the contract is extended.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barstow, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
