Dental Assistant

Smile & Aesthetics Barr is not a "seat and flip" office. Every patient's goals are documented and their visit is prepped the night before, so each appointment feels personal and polished. We're adding dental assistants who take pride in that standard.

You'll

• Assist chairside on cosmetic, implant, and general procedures
• Take Nomad x-rays
• Perform Zoom whitening
• Capture iTero scans
• Manage inventory, keep rooms clean and turned over, and help patients feel informed and comfortable.

What we look for

• Organized: You know your schedule and patient flow, walk the team through it at morning huddle, and point out trouble spots before they happen.
• Proactive: You see blind spots coming and either solve them or ask for support. For example: "Front desk, I'm flipping a room. Can you seat my next patient and let me know when they're ready?"
• Open to learning: New to a procedure, like Botox? You ask the doctor the day before to walk through the setup so you're ready to give hands-on help.
• Prepared: You review the upcoming schedule ahead of time and come ready for the procedures on it.
• Consistent: Dentistry is repetitive, and our doctor uses the same instruments. You learn a procedure's steps and apply them the same way, patient after patient.
• Detail-oriented: You know your patient before they arrive. For a Zoom patient, the gel comes out in the morning. Laundry is run so blankets are fresh, and headphones and devices are charged at the end of the week so Monday starts ready.
