You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity./ppZions Bancorporation is accepting applications for our Asset Based Lending Underwriter/Portfolio Manager located in either Salt Lake City, Houston or Dallas TX./ppZions Bancorporation is seeking an Asset Based Lending Underwriter to join our Asset Based Lending team providing loans secured by working capital assets. Our team partners with clients to deliver customized credit solutions that support growth while mitigating risk. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting ABL operations within a collaborative, client-focused environment./ppIdeal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:/pulliSupport the lending unit in the structuring and performs due-diligence, underwriting, legal documentation, closing, analyzing financial data and managing both new and existing complex Asset-Based loans./liliReview and analyze of field exams./liliActively participate in new business efforts./liliPre-screen new business for appropriateness, structure and offer a key opinion to solicit business./liliPrepare loan packages for loan approval, including the submission and presentation of underwriting memo for approval./liliAccountable for appropriate loan documentation, borrowing-base calculation, the loan closing process and internal on-boarding of new customers./liliResponsible to analyze and accurately document the financial performance of borrowers./liliEnsure compliance with financial and loan covenants./liliManage troubled loans and workout situations./liliBuild and maintain relationships with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction./liliProvide advice and counsel to clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment, capital markets, and general banking trends./liliPrepare credit analysis in accordance with credit policy for both new and existing loans with a focus on credit policy, identifying risk and mitigates, and appropriate loan ratings./liliPerform financial projection modeling./liliEnsure that production and quality of work performed by independent contractors is monitored and meeting service levels./liliManage department projects and other duties as needed./li/ulpQualifications:/pulli6-8+ years in asset-based lending, underwriting, loan structuring, credit, or portfolio management, field exam, loan documentation, loan workouts, monitoring collateral and credit performance, economic and industry evaluations, or other directly related experience./liliStrong knowledge of accounting and finance./liliAn equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualification./liliWorking knowledge of commercial/corporate loan structures, setting of appropriate loan and financial covenants and industry standard loan documentation./liliAbility to support the expand client relationships./liliStrong work ethic./liliFamiliarity with loan processing and closing processes./liliSolid problem resolution, analysis, communication skills, both verbal and written./liliMust have solid interpersonal skills./liliStrong knowledge of software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and financial modeling./liliRequires a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related field./li/ulpBenefits:/pulliMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance - START DAY ONE!/liliLife and Disability Insurance, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Assistance/liliHealth Savings (HSA), Flexible Spending (FSA) and dependent care accounts/liliPaid Training, Paid Time Off (PTO) and 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and any applicable state holidays/lili401(k) plan with company match, Profit Sharing, competitive compensation in line with work experience/liliMental health benefits including coaching and therapy sessions/liliTuition Reimbursement for qualifying employees enrolled in an accredited degree program related to the needs of the business/liliEmployee Ambassador preferred banking products/li/ul/div
