Job Description

Job Summary:
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards. Support the operating room team by maintaining a sterile environment and managing instrument inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments according to established protocols.
• Inspect equipment for damage or defects, documenting issues as needed.
• Prepare sterile packages for surgical procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation of sterilization processes and inventory.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to address equipment needs and ensure readiness.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Ability to adhere strictly to infection control procedures and sterilization standards.
• Certification in sterile processing or related credentials preferred.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team.
