Our new facility, spanning 340,000 square feet, will introduce a state‑of‑the‑art environment tailored to meet the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. It will house crucial departments such as emergency, inpatient, procedural, and women and children. Location 7600 Better Way, Frisco, Texas Shift FT Days – three 12‑hour shifts per week, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., self‑scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Requirements 2 years Med Surg experience in an acute/critical care hospital. Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies. Essential Functions of the Role Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs; create, implement, and evaluate care plans and adjust them to achieve desired outcomes. Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in therapeutic interactions with patients and families. Reflect values in care plans to aid resolution of issues. Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members, empowering them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop care plans. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly. Apply different strategies for problem‑solving with patients, families, and staff; recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery. Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth, contribute to peers’ development, and demonstrate community service commitment. Key Success Factors Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures. Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in the area. Understanding of hospital procedures and rules. Proficiency in medical terminology, including health, disease prevention, management, common medications, and side effects. Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights. Exceptional communication skills for clear expression of thoughts verbally and in writing. Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties. Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program.
