Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer | Revit | Commercial & Industrial Projects Are you an experienced Mechanical HVAC Designer who knows that great ductwork starts with real-world experience? Our client is growing their VDC team and is looking for a designer who understands commercial HVAC systems from both the computer screen and the jobsite. If you've spent time in the field working with sheet metal, ductwork, fabrication, or installation—and now use that knowledge to create intelligent Revit models,we'd love to talk with you. What You'll Do Design and coordinate commercial and industrial HVAC systems using Revit. Create detailed ductwork and mechanical system layouts for healthcare, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional projects. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, BIM coordinators, and field teams to produce accurate, constructible designs. Participate in clash detection and coordination with other building trades. Apply practical field knowledge to improve constructability, installation efficiency, and project quality. What We're Looking For Proven experience designing commercial HVAC and ductwork systems. Advanced proficiency with Revit MEP. Strong understanding of sheet metal systems, duct design, and mechanical coordination. Previous field experience in HVAC, sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical construction strongly preferred. Ability to read construction documents and translate project requirements into high-quality models. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
