HDR is looking for a Management Consulting Lead to join our Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of our Water Business Group program. This position will collaborate with and leverage HDR staff across the company and teaming partners to develop solutions for our clients. The primary duties of this position include pursuing, planning, managing, and delivering all aspects of utility management advisory projects. Work typically relates to Strategic Management and Planning; Business Process Optimization; Organizational Development; Digital Advisory; Equity, and Rates, Finance, and Funding. The successful candidate for this position will also be expected to: Actively lead our growing Mid-Atlantic management consulting services.Collaborate with HDR technical leaders, operations leaders, market sector directors, project managers, and project teams to deliver world class quality services, project management services and construction services for projects and programs utilizing multiple delivery models.Actively engage with the local project teams and assist in Go/No-Go discussions, project risk assessments, SOQs, proposals, interviews, and negotiations as required.Participate in client relationship management, client presentations, conference presentations, and interviews.Participate in scope, schedule, and budget development for projects. Provide project delivery support including planning, contract administration and management, technical consulting, design reviews, subcontract management and construction services.Actively participate in AWWA or WEF and related regional professional associations.Mentor and develop other employees.Perform other duties as needed. Preferred QualificationsActively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brandBS degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or similar combination of relevant education and experienceMaster of Business Administration degree15 years of water industry experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licensureStrong leadership skills and project management experience with multiple national remote teams is preferredProven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business development related to Strategic Management and Planning; Business Process Optimization; Organizational Development; Digital Advisory; Equity, and Rates, Finance, and FundingSelf-starter with excellent writing and communication skillsStrong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.)Familiar with estimating and scheduling software, project management softwareAbility to interact with various design professionals, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsCurrent AWWA or WEF and related regional professional association involvementLocal candidates are preferred #LI-MJ1This position is subject to a governmental background check.QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR valuesMaintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experienceExperienced in development and management of diverse teamsWorks cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
