Description: The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care to a diverse patient population, including all ages. Patient ratios are typically 1:6. The nurse will work in a 24-bed unit with comprehensive surgical services, emergency services, and advanced wound care. Common diagnoses treated in the unit include a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and be committed to making communities healthier. The environment offers small-town charm coupled with city amenities, including parks and trails. Every other weekend shift and on-call requirements will apply as needed. The dress code requires scrubs, with no casual wear permitted. All travelers must have required certifications before starting. Random drug screening will be conducted, and a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form must be completed prior to employment.
