Overview Night auditor: Level: Experienced. Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Position Type: Seasonal. Schedule: Night shift, 11 pm – 7 am. Education Level: High School. Opportunities exist for both seasoned professionals and those starting their careers. Responsibilities Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company, on a daily basis. Completes and attributes all required audit reports. Verifies wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled. Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift. Prepares the front office for the A shift and resets the day’s business. Acts as a guest service representative during nighttime hours. Acts as the manager on duty during nighttime hours. Attends and actively participates in front office meetings and training programs. Performs duties as PBX operator during the audit shift. Assists breakfast attendants by setting up breakfast areas as needed. Performs other related duties as required. Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner and maintain a professional presence. Arrives on time and in uniform according to company policy. Complies with all company policies and procedures for this position. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. 1–2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferred. Customer service skills required. Financial management skills required.
