Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across the OR, with a focus on orthopedic cases
- Assist during pre-op patient prep, anesthesia induction, and operative procedure as circulating and/or scrub nurse
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and appropriate equipment readiness
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document care, and communicate with the surgical team
- Facilitate room setup, turnover, and post-operative handoff to appropriate teams
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to OR policies and safety protocols

Requirements
- Active RN license (state requirements applicable to the assignment location)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- OR experience with emphasis on orthopedic cases; circulating and scrub roles preferred
- Minimum of 5 years OR experience preferred; strong orthopedic OR expertise required
- Ability to work four 9-hour day shifts with on-call coverage and to function effectively in a fast-paced OR environment
