alk solutions is seeking a dedicated Flatbed CDL Driver to join our Logistics team in Chicago. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact in the logistics and procurement industry.
As a Flatbed CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods while ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of hours, mileage, and cargo
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck safely and efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
