Residential HVAC Install Assistant

Position Summary

Ideal Services is seeking a dependable and motivated Residential HVAC Install Assistant to support our lead installers with residential heating and air conditioning system installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry while learning from experienced professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist lead installers with installation of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, and related equipment
Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle
Follow safety procedures and company installation standards
Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment
Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
Learn installation procedures, codes, and best practices
Support completion of jobs in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications

HVAC experience preferred but not required - willing to train the right candidate
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawlspaces, attics, and varying weather conditions
Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Ability to work well on a team
High school diploma or GED preferred
