Sr. Program Planner/Scheduler II - Onsite

Responsibilities Understand program technical and programmatic solutions and partner with the program team to integrate these solutions into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) baseline plan, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated. Lead creation and maintenance of compliant IMS based on customer requirements, achieving necessary cost and schedule integration. Support the team to develop program plans and IMS consistent with IPDS and program life cycle; review IMS planned work for accuracy, identifying missing or improperly planned work. Create, use, and recommend appropriate alternative or supplemental program management plans/artifacts (e.g., HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow) to help the program team understand and manage the plan. Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) results to program teams; integrate mitigation plans into the IMS and embed schedule risks into the Risk Management process with assistance from a Scheduled Risk Analysis SME. Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical‑path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and network logic validation, applying appropriate Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes. Mentor and train junior planners. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Prior experience using scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar). Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and workflow. Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or a similar business process. Qualifications – Preferred Bachelor’s degree in STEM. Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule, and cost information in an EVMS environment. Ability to understand and model program technical and programmatic solutions into the IMS. Skill in interpreting and analyzing SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers, and schedule probability of success. Collaboration with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support program teams. Understanding of hardware and software development life cycles, exposure to Agile methodologies. Capability to manage, lead, teach, and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques for teams of varying size and backgrounds. Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement mindset.
