Locums - La Porte, Indiana, OB/GYN HospitalistPOSITION OVERVIEW Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist for call-only locum coverage in La Porte, Indiana. AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING Call-only coverage Beeper call Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Average Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift Current Available Dates: November 26, 2026 at 7:00 AM - November 30, 2026 at 7:00 AM Additional shift availability expected in 2027 REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Active Indiana Medical License - Required Indiana CSR - Required Indiana DEA - Required Board Certified in OB/GYN - Required BLS - Required ACLS - Required PALS - Required Clean NPDB / Data Bank - Required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OB/GYN Hospitalist experience Experience with admissions Comfortable managing assigned and unassigned patients Experience providing call-only coverage PRACTICE DETAILS Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospitalist Department Size: 85 beds EMR: Cerner CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS To qualify for temporary privileges, providers must have: Active Indiana medical license Indiana CSR Indiana DEA Adequate case logs for review KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Must have: Board certification in OB/GYN Active IN license, CSR, and DEA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Adequate case logs OB/GYN Hospitalist experience Ability to respond within 30 minutes Availability for call-only coverage Referral Bonus Available Know someone who might be a fit?
