Your focus will be building a cohesive team focused on providing our guests excellent service while maintaining all brand standards. Your role is key to the overall experience the guest will have. We have a great company culture at the Inn at Bay harbor where everyone is valued and treated with respect.Responsibilities:Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.Take reservation requests efficiently.Answer Front Desk Phone in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette.Block rooms and handles special requests.Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security proceduresAssist in training of new hires and current associates on a regular basisEnsure front desk is adequately staffed at all times which may require covering call offsQualifications:Minimum 1 year at a front desk or guest service experience.Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Previous point of sale software experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
