Varied shifts with occasional weekends required.
The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a critical care environment where nursing staff closely monitor patients' vital signs, initiate pain management protocols, and administer necessary fluids. The team is trained to recognize and manage complications in patients recovering from anesthesia.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon is required.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required.
- Experience in PACU or a critical care setting is required.
