Job Details:

Job Title: Pediatrics Registered Nurse

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1850.21 - 1942.72

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Nights, Every other weekend, every other holiday)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Travel

Requirements: Can submit with VA license pending, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required, can approve 40 hours for time off

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized postoperative care for pediatric patients requiring overnight observation or extended recovery.
• Monitor pediatric patients in the Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit and Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
