CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs. All carpentry, electrical work, or simple plumbing repairs are performed under supervision by qualified personnel.You truly are the most important component contributing to the safety and comfort of our patients, visitors, and staff. A well-maintained facility with compassionate staff brings comfort and peace of mind to patients, their loved ones, and all who serve here.Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and control systems in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, using hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instrumentsKeeps records of equipment repairs and maintenance.Observe mechanical devices (pumps, engines, compressors, motors, conveyor systems) or control systems in operation.
