Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Echo Technologist (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience operating echocardiography equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic procedures, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow echo exams
• Prepare patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety
• Collaborate with physicians to acquire optimal diagnostic images
• Document findings clearly in electronic medical records and communicate results as appropriate
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed
