Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position in Tyler, TX, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification and at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Details
- Hospital-based Imaging/MRI department
- Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent
- MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Basic computer proficiency required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures, supporting patient throughput and efficient patient flow
- Provide MRI safety screening for patients and staff
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Ensure completed exams are correctly scanned and stored in PACS; serves as a PACS Superuser and follows downtime procedures as needed
- Participate in QA, ongoing education, and technical advances within scope of practice
- May be required to work other shifts or at other campuses as needed
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
