Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA provides patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to improve patient well-being within established care plans. Responsibilities Follow state laws and work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, performing qualified procedures and recommending care plan updates. Instruct patients in exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training. Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes, coordinating with healthcare team members. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy techniques within scope of practice. Qualifications & Skills Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state. CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and mobility assistance. Must be adaptable to diverse home environments and available for weekend rotations.
