Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Experienced Emergency Room RN needed to provide high-quality acute care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing diverse patient cases, trauma, and critical interventions with a focus on nursing excellence and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Assess, prioritize, and manage patient conditions efficiently to support rapid turnover and accurate triage.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate trauma-related equipment following protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RTs, ED techs, and case managers, ensuring seamless patient flow.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control policies, and professional appearance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, including trauma and pediatrics preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS, with TNCC and CEN highly preferred.
• Experience working with EPIC EHR systems.
• Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
