Health and Wellness Intern - Kutztown University

Job Description As a Health and Wellness Intern, you will assist the Campus Dining Registered Dietitian with nutrition & wellness events across campus. Assist in event planning, marketing and execution. This position is ideal for a student interested in nutrition or allied health. Must have some noon‑afternoon availability for events. The nutrition intern is an on‑site position between August‑May (this is not a summer internship). Job Responsibilities Collaborate with district RD and marketing managers to plan events Assist in creation of nutrition‑related educational materials and promotional graphics Support nutrition event execution Assist with event promotion on social media Help with other dining services and student engagement events as needed Assist in training staff as needed Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co‑workers, etc. Ensures security of company assets At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Qualifications Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred, but not required. Experience in food service, or in a related field preferred but not required. Needs to communicate fluently in the English language, bilingual or multilingual a plus. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Comfort with using technology including web‑based software. Must be flexible and adaptable to change. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
