Banquet Event Server

PineCrest Country Club is looking for dependable, energetic and dependable Banquet Servers to join our team! Starting at $18.00 per hour Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week Shifts are typically Friday, Saturday 3:00 pm to 11:00; Sundays and some weekday and weeknight shifts About the Role: As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences during events and functions held at our venue. Your primary objective is to ensure that guests receive attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the event, contributing to the overall success and positive reputation of our hospitality services. You will collaborate closely with the banquet team to set up dining areas, serve food and beverages, and promptly address guest needs and requests. This role demands a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ultimately, your efforts will help create memorable experiences for guests, encouraging repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience in food service or hospitality, preferably in banquet or event settings. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume banquet or catering environment. Ability to lift and carry trays or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, as required by event schedules. Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events. Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to coordinate service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet spaces following the conclusion of events. Skills: The required skills such as effective communication and attention to detail are essential for understanding guest needs and ensuring accurate and timely service delivery. Physical stamina and coordination are used daily to manage setup, service, and cleanup tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices helps maintain a hygienic environment, protecting guest health and complying with regulations. Preferred skills like multilingualism enhance guest interactions and improve service quality for diverse clientele.
