These are the qualifications that matter. Requirements. Minimum 5 years' experience in a lead or supervisory role in powder coating at an AS9100 or ISO9001 shop. Must be an expert at powder coating by being proficient in the use of all its equipment and able to troubleshoot problems. Able to understand and comply with all AS9100 quality requirements, along with the additional requirements from our various customers. Computer skills allowing for comfortable use of our ERP and QDB. Able to read and understand blueprints and their requirements. Job Duties: The correct functioning of the Powder Coating department by keeping up with maintenance, ensuring calibration, and tracking equipment performance Ensuring on-time delivery by planning and prioritizing work based on the ERP-driven schedule and appropriately deploying your people as needed The quality of the parts going through your department: paint adhesion, thickness, color, masking, cure, et cetera. When something goes wrong, completing and implementing root cause corrective actions Following best practices and specified procedures with respect to powder coating and silk-screening. Proper interaction with our ERP system (JobBoss) and our Quality Database (uniPoint). Monitor, train, coach, and lead your people, all while ensuring safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
