The shift is 3x12 hours, from 11:00 to 23:00, plus on-call requirements. The unit provides hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to inpatients. Dialysis nurses support and troubleshoot machines in collaboration with ICU staff. SLEDD is provided by ICU nurses within their unit. The facility utilizes specific dialysis machines for both hemodialysis and SLEDD. Travelers may be expected to orient new dialysis staff during their shifts. The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role involves handling various patient diagnoses related to dialysis and critical care. Candidates should be prepared to engage in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.
